The Battle Rages On is the tenth episode of the second season of Sandguardians and the twenty-sixth overall.

PlotEdit

At Blue base, the Guy in White dodges Legend's attacks from the Hornet. He then mocks Legend, causing the latter to retaliate by increasing his rate of fire. However, he is unable to hit the Guy in White. Suddenly, Icky spots Legend in trouble and enters the base to help him, where he finds the Life Saver weapon and attempts to inform Legend about it. Unfortunately Icky is unable to get Legend's attention, so he decides to use the Life Saver on the tank.

Meanwhile, the Guy in White obtains the upper hand and continually injures Legend. Legend tries to flee, but the Guy in White uses a plasma grenade to destroy the Hornet, leaving Legend defenseless. Before the Guy in White is able to kill Legend, Icky arrives in the tank and fires at the Guy in White, but the latter quickly disappears. Icky then regroups with Legend and shows him the Life Saver. He then explains that it has the power to not only heal and weaken people, but can also power up and power down vehicles. Legend decides to use the Life Saver on the tank, and the two return to base.

However, Icky becomes shocked when he discovers the tank starter in the above cave. Legend tells Icky to grab it nonetheless and to prepare for a counterattack. Legend states that because they are low on soldiers and resources, they must finish the Reds once and for all.

TriviaEdit

Icky references Tony Montana's famous line from the 1983 film Scarface, right before he shoots the Guy in White.
It is revealed that the Life Saver has the ability to power up vehicles, explaining how Seal was able to operate the tank in Episode 15.
